Downlands Nursing Home, located on The Drive in Hove, provides high-quality care for up to 23 residents. Spread over three floors, all bedrooms feature en-suite facilities, electric profiling beds, Wi-Fi access, and telephone points for convenience and comfort. Parking is available at the front of the home, and we pride ourselves in being fully compliant with CQC standards.

Spacious Lounges & Beautiful Conservatory

Our spacious lounge is the perfect place for relaxation and socialization. It opens into a bright conservatory, where residents can savour their delicious meals while enjoying the sun. The conservatory leads to a secluded garden with raised beds.

Each room is beautifully decorated and furnished to create a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, making it truly feel like home.

Dedicated and Experienced Care Team

Downlands is managed by a full-time Registered General Nurse (RGN) manager, ensuring that residents receive the highest standard of professional care. Our team consists of experienced nurses, healthcare assistants, and support staff, all dedicated to fostering a nurturing and supportive environment. 

Beautiful Outdoor Spaces & Engaging Activities

The pretty outdoor garden space allows residents to take part in gardening activities and enjoy the beauty of nature. 

We encourage residents to maintain an active and fulfilling lifestyle, engaging in meaningful activities that promote well-being.

Recent Updates

Recent refurbishments have enhanced our facilities, including four additional en-suite rooms and two newly installed wet rooms for improved bathing comfort.

We feel incredibly lucky to have had the opportunity to place my Mum there. She was treated with the utmost dignity, respect and most importantly, gentle care and kindness. The team are extraordinary in all aspects of their work. Despite not being able to eat a great deal, the chef prepared her an appropriate meal at all times, not deterred by it returning with only a spoonful taken. The manager is a joy. I would like to thank every person who took care of my lovely mum, they were all beautiful souls who made her final days and final hours comfortable, pain-free and dignified. We in all honesty couldn't have asked for more.
